I’m sitting here beside you watching you play and I’m emotional. (Shocker) You are talking and cooing and I just love it. Watching you grow has been the greatest joy!

You are the sweetest girl! You steal the hearts of everyone that meets you! Just one smile and the hardest hearts are mush.

Being your mom is my highest calling!

I have loved our little bubble these first few months but we are entering a new season. I’m heading back to work and part of me is excited because I want you to know what hard work looks like and I want you to live in a world where you can do anything! I want you to know you can do it all. You can be a mom and be driven at the same time. You are a mountain mover! You don’t have to fit inside a certain mold.

On the other hand I never want to go back to work. I want to be the one that gets to see every single “first” that gets to wake you up every morning and cuddle with you all day. I don’t want to miss a thing! I want to stay in our little bubble forever!

But here we go! The God of the universe has an incredible destiny ahead! We stand on the shoulders of the millions of women who have trusted Him and paved the way for us! Give Mommy a little grace while we figure out our new normal. We will find balance. It might be a little bumpy, but let’s do this thing!
